Schedule
Keynote Peter Bednar – Conceptualization of Social Big Data.
Chair: Maria Bielikova
We will provide the conceptualization of Social Big Data from three perspectives: at first we will define taxonomy of data types for Social Media as the main source of data. In the second perspective, we will conceptualize Data Analysis methods gaining and analysing knowledge from the source data. The third perspective will incorporate Big Data research area as a main processing paradigm.
Chairs: Martin Lopez-Nores and Yannick Naudet
Chair: Manolis Wallace
In this session we hope to build on the presence of a high number of researchers who are active in the area, due to the collocation of SMAP, UMAP and PATCH, and see what more we can do together. To trigger interaction short panel presentations will present opportunities for participation in planned EU project proposals, in an ongoing project, in a UMUAI special issue as well as in future editions of PATCH.
UMAP & SMAP shared talk.
Keynote Paul de Bra – After twenty-five years of user modeling and adaptation…what makes us UMAP?
This keynote offers both reflection on the past and outlook into the future, with the burning question: What makes us UMAP? We perform research on modeling users (individuals as well as groups), not just for fun but to use these models for recommendations and for adaptation.
Chairs: Enrique Hortal and Evaggelos Spyrou
